This broadside advertises a performance by “Mme. Sisieretta [sic] Jones” on Thursday, April 27, 1893 at Oak Street A.M.E. Zion Church, likely in Petersburg, Virginia. Even though the venue was a historically-Black church, the poster says “Reserved Seats For White People.” Reserved seats were listed at 50 cents, while auditorium tickets were 35 cents and gallery seats cost 25 cents.
