One of the other faces of the monument quotes from Proverbs 4:18, “The path of the just is as a shining light which shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” Yet another face includes an excerpt from the Book of Psalms: “Mark the perfect man and behold the upright, for the end of that man is peace.” It continues, “He walked with God, and is not, for God took him,” which comes from Genesis 5:24.
